Laudes DE 3.0
As part of the Convive Collective ecosystem, I had the privilege of contributing to 3.0 of the Laudes Foundation’s Developmental Evaluation (DE), an initiative designed to strengthen strategic direction and deepen systemic impact.
My role centred on evidence generation, sensemaking, and strategic learning, with a focus on combining rigorous evaluation methods with innovative tools. Key contributions included:
Outcome Harvesting: Conducted a new round of outcome harvesting for each program team, using Excel and ChatGPT to establish and refine key outcomes.
Deep Dive Interviews: Designed templates, prepared guiding materials, and conducted in-depth interviews with stakeholders, partners, and team members. Summaries from these interviews directly informed the development of “top stories,” highlighting critical outcomes and systemic shifts.
Sensemaking & Co-Presentation: Co-facilitated sensemaking sessions with Laudes Foundation teams, presenting findings on both outcomes and “unknowns.” Worked closely with team leads in iterative discussions to finalise write-ups, ensuring outputs were actionable for learning and strategy.
OER Review: Supported the Organisational Effectiveness Review (OER) process by reviewing foundation documents in Dedoose, triangulating insights with harvested outcomes to strengthen evidence reliability.
Rubric Analysis: Collaborated with colleagues to analyse B-Rubric data and context monitoring information, producing findings that informed the rubric refresh and supported Laudes’ approach to assessing systemic change.
This process provided Laudes Foundation with clear, evidence-based narratives of systemic contributions; strengthened alignment between program outcomes and strategic intent; and generated practical learning products for future decision-making. The work also advanced methodological innovation by integrating digital tools (Excel, Dedoose, ChatGPT) into evaluation workflows—making analysis more robust and accessible.
