The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) promotes equitable energy transitions by investing in productive use of energy (PUE) initiatives that generate livelihoods and climate resilience.
My Role & Task
Commissioned to lead a comprehensive desk review with a focus on integrating equity and climate into livelihood measurement.
Conducted literature and evidence reviews of global livelihood frameworks.
Executed a two-phase analysis:
Phase 1: Mapping of PUE programmes and identification of best practices and gaps.
Phase 2: Formulation of targeted recommendations for GEAPP’s internal framework.
Impact
Strengthened GEAPP’s ability to measure how energy access impacts jobs, livelihoods, and equity outcomes.
Provided actionable recommendations that informed the refinement of GEAPP’s livelihood framework.
